Word Clouds could help students visually see words that are used the most. This could help students with their own writing when they are working on 'word choice'. Once a student has a story written it would not take long to make a word cloud. I can also see this working for high school students. A word cloud could be added to a presentation to provide interest and novelty or as a visual to a speech.

I used 'Wordle' to make my word cloud. I copied a paragraph from a paper on Autism. The whole process took 10 minutes at the max. I love quick and easy. Elementary and well as High School students would be able to learn and independently use this. I also liked 'Tagxedo'. Another great thing is that it is free, Love free!
